3 Days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, through the High Atlas mountains. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Roses Valley, and Dades Valley. Overnight in the Dades Valley, we will continue our way to Todra Gorges, down to the Merzouga desert, and camel trekking. overnight in the desert camp in the middle of the dunes under a starry sky, the next day will come back to Marrakech through the Draa valley.
After meeting at the place we had agreed upon, we will begin our 3 days desert tour over the stunning High Atlas mountains, through Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), a stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argan oil. Then, we continue to the Old Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, you will have free time to visit the old village, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site.
After a visit and lunch, we will continue driving to Dades Valley. We will stop in Ouarzazate to Visit “Taourirt Kasbah.” Afterwards, we go further south-east to the green Dades Valley and the city of roses via the fascinating Skoura palmary. In the evening, we will return to Dades Valley and visit the amazing rock formation “the monkey toes.” Overnight in a hotel/Riad.
Today, after breakfast, we will be heading toward the Merzouga desert. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga.
after relaxing for a few minutes, we go to the camels that are waiting to take us on an adventure in the dunes, you will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums and music in the middle of the dunes, this is an excellent opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise.
Wake up to see the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we go back on the camels to Merzouga and then Start our journey back to Marrakech on a different route to Ouarzazate through Rissani, Alnif, Nkob, and Draa Valley. We stop for lunch along the way, then continue to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains. This is the end of the 3 days desert tour.
